Description of intervention
The installation features silhouettes of fifty children. Each silhouette is printed with an anonymised, real story of child sexual abuse from children in Albania. These were collected over a few weeks in collaboration with Nisma ARSIS, Foundation Together Albania and National Child Helpline Alo 116. Primary aims are to raise awareness around child sexual exploitation and abuse; to empower people to speak about this abuse, and to incite the development and implementation of policies and actions to reduce the prevalence of child sexual exploitation. Updates about the project are shared on Twitter using the #TeBesoj.
